Thank you for visiting my online portfolio. I am a journalist who writes and edits in English and Spanish. I work for the Arlington Catholic Herald covering education, community news and immigration. I spent the summer learning a lot about editing as an intern at The New York Times’s Business Day copy desk as part of the Dow Jones News Fund program.

I’m currently a freelance writer and editor in the Washington area, who will soon move permanently to New York. My last job was to write and edit in English and Spanish for a weekly newspaper in Northern Virginia. Part of my job included covering local news, education and immigration. I spent the summer of 2013 learning a lot about editing as an intern at The New York Times’s Business Day copy desk as part of the Dow Jones News Fund program.
